Problem Solving

We are learining  to solve maths problems.


Carol has 15 books on her shelf and she had read 9 of them . How many book does she have left to read?

    Hi Taraia I think the answer is 6 because I know that 15 - 9 =6

    Hi Taraia,

    What a great maths problem! I agree with Sabrina that the answer is 6.

    If Carol has 15 books and we take 9 away because she has read them, then she has 6 left to read.

    15 - 9 = 6
